Enter a trip once — get the per-diem math done right
How to use: ① set your trip dates, travelers and travel legs, ② pick where you sleep each night (legs pre-fill the nights), ③ mark meals the conference provides and any personal days, ④ drop in receipts. The reconciliation panel flags lodging over cap, missing or duplicated receipts, and the charts show spending vs. allowance. Save the trip to keep it in this browser — the draft also restores automatically after a reload.
University policy governs: U of I Administrative Procedures Manual Ch. 70 (APM 70.02) sets per-diem rules for university travel, and rates should always be verified at gsa.gov/perdiem. GSA FY2026 rates shown here cover travel dated Oct 1, 2025 – Sep 30, 2026; dates outside that window are flagged, not silently priced.

2 · Itinerary & lodging by night
| Day | Destination (night) | Lodging cap | M&IE | Provided meals | Personal | Allowance |
|---|
Set the start and end dates above to build the night-by-night itinerary. Each row is one night: pick the destination to set the lodging cap for that night, and the per-diem rate for that day. Tick B / L / D for meals the conference provides — they are deducted from your allowance automatically. Tick Personal for non-business days — they are excluded from the allowance and their receipts are flagged.
3 · Receipts
